What's For Dinner?

First I would like to say a special thank you to all who checked out my First Blog.

Today I'm going to give you a little food for thought...

So, since tomorrow is the day the garbage gets picked up we will have Musgo for dinner. What's Musgo? Well, I got the idea from a friend of mine. Thanks Marissa H. She told me one day that she has Mustgo for dinner when they have softball practice nights. Well as you can see her Mustgo is with a "t" and my Musgo is with out it. She told me that they eat the left overs from that week and everyone eats what they want. Well, what I do is similar but I change the leftovers into a new creative dish.

So tonight we had Musgo soup. There was some pasta with homemade ragu with turkey and Italian sausage. There was a baked potato and a piece of chicken. I had some cherry tomatoes that I didn't finish for lunch. there was also 2 pieces of spare ribs. Well I made sure the meat was small pieces for the soup. I used some fresh carrots, onions and celery. I also add some special seasonings. Put it together to make tonight's Musgo soup. Anything leftover that wasn't used. MUST GO!!! don't keep leftovers to long.

I know you're going to say tell us the recipe not just "some ingredients". Well, that will come in time. Recipes will come as followers continue to follow and more come.

At least you have some ideas for the rest of the week. Pasta with ragu. Chicken and potatoes, spare ribs, or even a salad and soup.

Today, October 14, 2012 I decided that I will start blogging. I've been thinking about it for a long time.

I'll start off by using this as my trial run. Figure out how to navigate and use this particular site.

In the future if you follow me, I think you will find some interesting tips, stories, ideas and maybe even some recipes. If you know me recipes are very sacred to me and I don't share often. But, I just might do it based on my followers. I'm also a very private person, so writing this blog will really be way out of my comfort zone.(Deep Breath) Here goes....

Well, I'll just tell you a little about myself and my life. I was born in Daly City, Ca. I have 3 sisters and 1 brother. My parents moved us to Union City when I was in the 8th grade. I met the love of my life while attending high school. We have 3 beautiful kids together. My son Steven is my eldest. Francine is my eldest daughter. Alexis is my youngest. I am so blessed to have them. They are my life.

I am a very busy mom. I leave the house early and get home late. At least that's how I feel. When I get home, I'm either cooking dinner, taking someone to practice or a game. I should mention that both of my daughters play softball for their high school and also with competitive travel teams.

I am a CMA in the Pediatric Department at Palo Alto Medical Foundation. I love doing what I do because I love the kids. I think they say the funniest things. I think they are our future and they are so precious.

I am very family oriented. I believe that family always comes first. I have very strong beliefs that all things are possible with God, with out him I don't know where I would be.

That's just a little bit about myself. I'm sure you'll find out more about me and you'll have your own opionions as you continue to follow me. Your opions are good. You're entitled to them. That's it for now. Stay tuned.
